Angry Birds Slingshotting To PS3, XBox 360, Wii
Angry Birds on the large screen? No, a film treat hasn’t been inked yet, but console versions are in the works. According to a BBC blog , Rovio, the developer of the megapopular smartphone game, is anticipating to let go Angry Birds on the PS3 , XBox 360 , and Wii next year.
Also in the works: Angry Birds 2. The new diversion will assumingly have more pigs–and they’ll be more active.
“It won’t be a continuation or a prequel but a not similar sort of diversion featuring the same characters,” mentioned Rovio CEO Peter Vesterbacka. “The pigs will be a lot more active than only being slingshotted at by birds.”
Angry Birds isn’t the initial mobile pretension to head to home consoles, but Vesterbacka says it will turn more common. “The smartphone gaming stage is obviously branch out to be the greatest and many played out there,” he said. “So it’s starting to beat the normal games on consoles and PCs.”
No word on either Angry Birds for consoles will have motion-control encouragement (we pretence it might). And alas, you have a bad feeling the console versions will cost a lot more than the mobile version. Lest any person forget, segment of the reason so many people downloaded the diversion is since it’s 99 cents on the iPhone, giveaway on Android smartphones, and $1.99 on the iPad.
